FAQ’S Cake orders

How do I order a cake?

The best way to place an order is to come in to the shop so that we can design a cake that suits your event perfectly. If you can’t make it in to the shop then please ring us or send us an email.

When do I need to place my order for a cake?

We are getting busier and busier so are finding we require much more notice to fit cakes in. Please try to give a months notice for a celebration cake. We can sometimes squeeze an order in with less notice so please ask and we can advise you. We can usually make an express cake with 7 days notice. Please try to give 7 days notice for cupcakes although it’s always worth asking if we can fit them if you don’t have 7 days.

Do you deliver cakes?

We don’t offer a deliver service for celebration cakes.

We can usually deliver wedding cakes although this incurs an additional charge. Our delivery rate is £20 delivery & set up fee + £2 per mile from Brown’s Cakes.

We have designed a range of cupcakes which we have special packaging for and we can send them via courier. These cost £30.50 for 9 cupcakes including delivery.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

We require a 20% deposit  at the time of booking and the balance is can then be paid on collection.

FAQ’S Afternoon tea and café

I’m sorry we no longer serve afternoon teas. We occasionally do seasonal takeaway afternoon teas which we advertise on social media.

What are your opening times?

Our opening times on these days are:

Monday 10am-5pm
Tuesday           10am-4pm

Wednesday     10am-5pm

Thursday         10am-5pm

Friday              10am-5pm

Saturday          10am-1pm
